Skin contact
Immediately remove contaminated clothing and rinse with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Eye contact
Immediately lift the eyelids and rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water or saline for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation
Quickly leave the scene to a place with fresh air. Keep the airway open. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, perform artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion
Rinse mouth with water and give milk or egg white. Seek medical attention.
Fire extinguishing method
Use water and sand to extinguish the fire, but be sure to prevent objects from splashing when in contact with water to cause burns.
Isolate the leaked contaminated area and restrict access. It is recommended that emergency response personnel wear dust masks (full-face masks) and acid- and alkali-resistant work clothes. Do not directly contact the leaked material.
Small leaks: Collect with a clean shovel in a dry, clean, covered container. You can also rinse with a large amount of water, dilute the washing water and put it into the wastewater system.
Large leaks: Collect and recycle or transport to a waste treatment site for disposal.
Packaging method: solids can be packed into 0.5 mm thick steel drums and sealed tightly, with the net weight of each drum not exceeding 100 kg; fully open or medium open steel drums outside plastic bags or two-layer kraft paper bags; ordinary wooden boxes outside threaded glass bottles, iron-capped glass bottles, plastic bottles or metal barrels (cans); full-bottom lattice boxes, fiberboard boxes or plywood boxes outside threaded glass bottles, plastic bottles or tinned thin steel plate barrels (cans); corrugated boxes outside tinned thin steel plate barrels (cans), metal barrels (cans), plastic bottles or metal hoses.
Storage precautions: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The humidity in the warehouse should not exceed 85%. The packaging must be sealed and must not be exposed to moisture. It should be stored separately from flammable (combustible) materials, acids, etc., and must not be mixed. The storage area should have appropriate materials to contain leaks.
Transportation precautions: During railway transportation, steel drum packaging can be transported by open cars. The packaging should be complete and the loading should be secure when it is shipped. During transportation, ensure that the container does not leak, collapse, fall, or become damaged. It is strictly prohibited to mix and transport with flammable or combustible materials, acids, edible chemicals, etc. During transportation, the transport vehicle should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment.
