Sodium sulphite is widely used in industry, such as as a reducing agent, bleaching agent and preservative, and is also used in the manufacture of other chemicals such as sodium thiosulfate, organic chemicals, etc. In addition, in the food industry, sodium sulfite is commonly used as a bleaching agent, preservative, loosening agent and antioxidant to extend the shelf life of food and improve its appearance and taste.
