Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is a versatile inorganic polymer coagulant extensively utilized in water treatment applications. It effectively eliminates impurities like suspended solids, colloidal substances, and organic matter, enhancing water quality. PAC finds widespread use in municipal sewage treatment, drinking water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, papermaking, printing and dyeing, and petrochemical industries.
During the water treatment process, PAC neutralizes and bridges colloids and particles in water, forming flocs and facilitating solid-liquid separation. Its key advantages include high active ingredients, low dosage requirements, easy transportation and storage, exceptional flocculation performance, and stability.
